Nicole Heim - Owner
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has started Reclaim U Counseling to offer something different. I worked for the state out of grad school, and noticed that with high volume clients and facilities, people are just numbers. I like to say that I offer a Humanistic approach because I want everyone who comes through our doors to feel important. When a client and I agree to work together, I am making the time imperative to be in the moment and give my clients as much feedback and support as possible. It is invaluable for my client and I to find out what road blocks are getting in the way of people reaching their true peace or happiness.
I am famous for my tag line, “You Know What Your Problem Is?” It is because I want to help you solve your problem. I want to help you reach your desires and goals and eliminate any problem that may get in the way. We all have problems, and sometimes overcoming those problems is most helpful when you have someone believe in you. I want to be that person and offer you a safe place to process.
Outside of counseling, we have drug and alcohol treatment, both individual and group settings. We also offer a comfortable and extremely friendly environment for you to take assessments, DUI screenings, and classes.
Constantly anxious or avoidant in your relationship? Needing help making a major life choice? Surrounded by toxic people and don’t understand why you seem to attract them? Struggling as a new parent, a new partner? Suffering from childhood trauma, PTSD from any life event? Then please reach out and inquire about my therapy services. I am a licensed associate therapist, specializing in anxiety, depression and mood disorders.
In sessions, I strive to be a safe place for you, helping you create your own natural supports outside of therapy. My clients have always appreciated my ability to connect and empathize with their journey. I make it a priority to ensure each client leaves feeling confident in their treatment and recovery, as well as my ability to help guide you there.

I am a Licensed Associate Counselor that specializes in working with adults and couples. I welcome clients from all backgrounds, life experiences and affectional orientations. My work with each client comes from a place of unconditional positive regard. I am focused on supporting my clients with empathy, understanding and being non-judgmental. When I meet with clients, I am focused on understanding their struggles and helping them find a path towards hope and change. I utilize an eclectic therapeutic approach drawing from many different therapies including humanistic, cognitive-behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy and existentialism.
I hold a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Southern Oregon University and a Bachelors degree from Colorado State University. I have experience working with clients with a wide variety of struggles including grief, life stage issues, marital challenges, domestic violence, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and chronic pain. I look forward to speaking with you and discussing your goals.
The relationship between counselor and client is the backbone of therapy. A client needs a person they can open up to and trust. A counselor needs a client who will be open and honest. I work hard to make every client know that they are the focus of each and every session. By whatever path a client arrives in my office, I seek to know and understand that journey. My approach to therapy comes from both my life experiences as well as my educational journey. These experiences allow me to create a non-judgmental space where I can meet each client where they currently are.
I do this by using a feminist theory approach that is trauma informed. I specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community and have worked with various non-traditional relationships, such as polyamory. I have also worked with addiction and recovery, Borderline Personality Disorder, anxiety, depression, work/life balance, and trauma. While I have a theoretical approach and a focus in social justice, I enjoy using skills that fit the client and the moment. I enjoy using Cognitive behavior Therapy, DBT skills, Gestalt techniques, as well as working from an Internal Family Systems (IFS) perspective.
Together we can create a path to strong mental health. I look forward to working with you.
